Washington Connections is a curriculum that teaches Washington State History and integrates reading, writing, math, science, geography, technology and multicultural experiences into a unique program linked to the Washington State Frameworks (EALRs). The Student Textbook (Student Log) is truly written at a fourth grade reading level as a Social Studies textbook, it provides students with historical facts, stories and activities, including geographical information and learning skills. This program also integrates Social Studies and Language Arts as one curriculum.

The Teacher's Guide is designed as an easy-to-follow outline with step-by-step instructions to guide the instructor through this course. Part of the Teacher's Guide is our "Materials Kit" this includes a reproducibles booklet with several "Hands-On" items to use with group activities in Class. This curriculum teaches fourth grade students about the geography and the history of Washington State within the Pacific Northwest during the time frame from "Territory Washington to Statehood".
